We believe that beauty and nature go hand in hand.

In 2022, I started looking into what natural skin care products I could add to my beauty treatments and offer to my clientele, one of which being natural sea moss, sometimes known as Irish moss. So, I decided that I wanted to create a body butter out of sea moss.

I researched the benefits of sea moss, which is when I found that sea moss is a very versatile natural product that has 92 minerals. Research also led me to trying to source sea moss in the UK, however, it was extremely difficult to source good quality sea moss here, most of the sellers seemed to be based in the US or Caribbean.

It took about a month to get the correct blend and consistency, so I started asking friends to try and they would give me constructive criticism, which was well appreciated. Moving on from that I had to think about what materials I would use to make these creams cost effective. A light bulb moment hit me, I decided to use my son’s baby food jars, and get some stickers made up, so said so done.

Fast forward a month or so and I applied to trade at a few local markets. I was accepted and thought: “Would people really buy my product in these baby food jars?” Doubt was kicking in, so I had to ask myself: “Would I buy a product from these jars?” My answer… NO! So, I went online and sourced some jars that were more appealing to the eye, and represented the look and feel that I wanted to present to my clientele, and here we have it.
